Dignity’s new production line makes it the premier manufacturer of XL format PCAP panels

Shunde, Foshan, Guangdong – June 2018 – Dignity Touch Solutions launched its purpose-built extra-large format projected capacitive production line this past June, making it one of a handful of companies worldwide capable of manufacturing PCAP touchscreens at sizes up to and including 86”. The production line and equipment were designed in-house in order to maximize efficiency, reduce labor and increase production yields, with processing, FPC assembly, and cover lens bonding in a single, integrated production line.

Dignity’s line of extra-large products is primarily aimed at the educational and communication fields and are used in applications as varied as digital whiteboards, meeting conference terminals and digital retail sales and ad solutions. A number of domestic and international companies are increasingly using PCAP technology to replace the previously dominant infrared touch due to its superior touch and gestural performance. With companies such as Google and Microsoft entering the meeting technology space, the next few years should see increased penetration of both PCAP and large format touch panels in general.
